Personal Life
Unnimaya hails from Palluruthy, Kochi, Kerala. She completed graduation in architecture from Thiruvananthapuram Engineering College. She worked as a teacher at Ooty, Manipal University and Palakkad Architecture College. She is also an architect at Pramod Parthan’s Sankalp Architects. Her husband Syam Pushkaran is a noted script writer.
Acting Career
Unnimaya started her career as an assistant director to Shaiju Khalid in the segment called Sethulakshmi in the anthology film Anju Sundarikal. She assisted Dileesh Pothen in the films ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ and ‘Thondimuthalum Drikshakshiyum’.
Unnimaya made her acting debut with the film ‘Sethulakshmi’ in the anthology film ‘Anju Sundarikal’. She played the character of Sara in ‘Meheshinte Prathikaaram’ and Maya teacher in the film ‘Parava’.
