Neeraj Madhav is a young actor who is active in malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut in 2013 with the film ‘Buddy’. His other noted films are ‘Memories’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘1983’, ‘Oru Vadkkan Selfie’, ‘Adi Kapyare Koottamani’, ‘Lava Kusha’ and ‘Pypin Chuvattile Pranayam’.
Neeraj Madhav (Neeraj K Namboodiri) hails from Thiruvannur, Kozhikode, Kerala. He was born as the son of Mr.Dr. K. Madhavan and Mrs. Latha. His father is a veterinarian and mother a teacher. He did his schooling at St. Joseph’s Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode. He graduated in Visual communications from SRM University, Chennai. Neeraj later did post-graduation in Theatre from School of Drama and Fine Arts, Thrissur. Neeraj has also trained in Bharatanatyam and Chenda. His younger brother Navneeth is a dancer turned actor.
Neeraj started his career as a dancer featuring in the dance reality show ‘Super Dancer’ aired in Amrita TV. Being a talented person, he made into the final round of the show. He made his silver screen debut in 2013 with the film ‘Buddy’ directed by Raaj Prabhavathy Menon. Neeraj played character roles in box office hits like ‘Memories’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘Oru Indian Pranayakadha’ and ‘1983’.
He appeared in films like ‘Apothecary’, ‘Sapthamashree Thaskaraha’, ‘Homely Meals’, ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’, ‘Jamna Pyari’, ‘Charlie’, ‘Adi Kapyare Kootamani’, ‘Oozham’, ‘Oru Mexican Aparatha’, ‘Lava Kusha’, ‘Pipin Chuvattile Pranayam’ and ‘Rosapoov’. Neeraj debuted as an official choreographer through ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’ with the fun song “Enne thallendammava”.
He won the Asiavision Awards 2015 as new sensation in acting (Male) for performance in various films. He turned script writer with the spy comedy film ‘Lava Kusha’. He plays the male protagonist in the film ‘Pypin Chuvattile Pranayam’.
