Rajesh Sharma is an actor who is active in malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut with the film ‘Saira’. His noted films are ‘Annayum Rasoolum’, ‘Homely Meals’, ‘Loham’, Ben’, ‘Aanadam’ and ‘Ayal Sasi’.
Rajesh hails from Kollam, Kerala. He was born as the son of Mr. Jayantha Sharma and Mrs. Jayalakshmi. He is married to Rashmi Ramachandran and the couple is blessed with a girl – Sreelakshmi.
Rajesh Sharma started his career as a stage actor. He has written 10 dramas and directed about 20 dramas for children. He played the lead role in plays like Media, Nishedhiyude Kathal, Saketham, Nagamandala, Chayamukhi, Shudhamaddalam, Crime Number 27 and Bhagavadajjukam. He appeared in more than 50 plays. He has won the best actor award from the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi.
He did the protagonist in Ekantham, an adaptation of Anton Chekov’s ‘The Bet.’ The drama became a turning point in his life as he bagged a handful of roles in films. Rajesh made his silver screen debut in the film ‘Saira’.
Being a talented actor, he has done a number of notable roles in films like ‘Annayum Rasoolum’, ‘Kanyaka Talkies’, ‘Homely Meals’, ‘Mariyam Mukku’, ‘Oru Vadakkan Selfie’, ‘Saigal Padukayanu’, ‘Loham’, ‘Ben’, ‘Charlie’, ‘Aandanam’, ‘Kappiri Thuruthu’, ‘Ezra’, ‘Mickey’, ‘Ayaal Sasi’ and ‘Bonsai’. In Homely Meals, he played Palarivattom Mosappan, a Kochi-based gangster.
