Mersheeena Neenu is a young actress who is associated with the malayalam television and film industries. She made her big screen debut in 2014 with the film ‘Wound’. She plays the role of Madhushree in the serial ‘Ayalathe Sundari’ in Surya TV.
Mersheena Neenu aka Neenu was born as the younger daughter of Mr. Abdul Nassar and Sajitha at Perinthalmanna, Malappuram, Kerala. She did her schooling at Cotton Hill Girls Higher Secondary School and Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram. She is completing her Class 12 studies through private studies. Her sister Fathimath Rasana, better known by Razna aka Rasna is a noted television actress.
As a kid, Mersheena Neenu started her career modelling for a textile advertisement. She has acted in the title song of the serial ‘Parijatham’. Mersheena made her silver screen debut in 2014 with the film ‘Wound’ directed by Rajasenan. She also made her presence in the tamil film world with ‘Konjam Konjam’ directed by Udayasankaran. She played the female lead role of Theertha in the serial ‘Manasariyathe’.
Mersheena plays the female protagonist Madhushree Madhavan in the daily soap ‘Ayalathe Sundari’ aired on Surya TV. Despite of being hearing and speech-impaired, the intrepid girl wants to materialise her dream of being the first hearing and speech impaired IAS officer. To give perfection to her character, Mersheena learned sign language with the assistance of Prasanth, a faculty at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) in Thiruvananthapuram.
